The Quanzhou refinery has a total processing capacity of 300,000 barrels per day.
The affected No. 1 crude unit accounts for 240,000 barrels per day.
The plant was already preparing for a full maintenance shutdown from late November or early December through January.
The complex produces gasoline, diesel, jet fuel, polypropylene, and has an ethylene production capacity of 1 million metric tons per year.
