INCIDENT OVERVIEW
On January 7, 2026, at approximately 6:40 PM, a fire broke out at an industrial building located at 14 Sungei Kadut Avenue in Singapore. INCIDENT SEQUENCE AND RESPONSE
Upon arrival at 6:40 PM, SCDF officers found an active fire in the production area on the second floor of the building. Firefighters deployed three water jets to contain and suppress the fire within the workshop. The incident was fully extinguished at approximately 8:00 PM, requiring approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes of active firefighting operations.
CASUALTIES AND EVACUATION
• One person: Assessed for smoke inhalation and transported to Singapore General Hospital for treatment
• 30 people: Evacuated from the building prior to SCDF arrival
• Injuries: One person requiring medical attention
• Fatalities: None reported
