Environmental Engineer

Join the Global Manufacturing Excellence organisation in the Decarbonisation & Sustainability Division to provide environmental protection and performance support across Aramco's refineries. Provide guidance on greenhouse gas (GHG) management, operational challenges and engineering solutions, including circular economy models and key performance indicators for flaring, SO₂, and hydrocarbon discharge to marine. Monitor facility operations to ensure alignment with environmental policy and standards; conduct full‑potential environmental assessments and recommend improvements. Develop and implement GHG management programmes covering data collection, analysis, reporting, internal assurance and third‑party audits. Oversee air quality, wastewater and water conservation, and waste management. Set environmental KPI targets aligned with company strategy and ensure compliance with company standards, regulations and ISO 14001 environmental management systems. Benchmark performance, stay up‑to‑date with evolving environmental standards, collaborate with stakeholders and deliver training. Minimum requirements include a bachelor's degree in chemical or environmental engineering, at least 17 years of oil & gas refinery experience, knowledge of environmental challenges and global policies, QEP certification (preferred), expertise in sustainability data, strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, and excellent English communication.
