Project: Major pumping station project (deep underground, reinforced concrete structures, tunneling, drainage networks)
Key Responsibilities:
Monitoring contractor safety performance on site.
Ensuring occupational health standards and PPE compliance.
Participating in safety reviews, inspections, incident investigations, and reporting.
Checking permit-to-work systems adherence.
Delivering/arranging specialist HSE training.
Supporting H&S Specialist with standard implementation.
Preparing detailed site safety reports.
Candidate Specifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Health, or Environmental studies (recognized institution).
Extensive relevant construction experience (esp. underground concrete structures, tunneling, drainage).
Strong knowledge of health & safety regulations and best practices.
Collaborative, communicative, and strong reporting skills.
Site-based, covering multiple areas.
