A leading organisation in Khon Kaen is seeking an experienced HSE Manager (Senior level) to provide strategic leadership and drive continuous improvement in Health, Safety and Environmental performance across its operations. The role is critical in ensuring full regulatory compliance, strengthening safety culture and acting as a strategic partner to both site and senior leadership teams in a complex operational environment.
Key responsibilities
Provide strategic leadership and direction for all Health, Safety and Environmental matters across the organisation.
Develop, implement and maintain robust HSE management systems that align with local legal requirements and corporate standards.
Lead risk assessments, incident investigations, root cause analysis and the implementation of effective corrective and preventive actions.
Drive continuous improvement in safety culture, behavioural safety and proactive risk prevention initiatives.
Ensure full compliance with local HSE regulations, permits and relevant international standards.
Plan, manage and coordinate internal and external HSE audits and inspections, and handle engagement with regulatory authorities.
Lead, coach and develop the HSE team to build long-term organisational HSE capability.
Partner closely with Operations, Engineering, HR and Contractors to embed HSE requirements into day-to-day activities and projects.
Provide clear HSE performance reporting, insights and recommendations to senior management to support data-driven decision-making.
Candidate profile
Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, Environmental Science or a related discipline.
Recognised professional HSE certifications such as NEBOSH or credentials related to ISO 45001 / ISO 14001 or equivalent are strongly preferred.
Minimum 10+ years’ HSE experience, with a proven track record in a senior or managerial HSE role.
Strong knowledge of occupational safety, environmental management and regulatory compliance frameworks.
Demonstrated leadership capability with experience influencing senior stakeholders and driving change.
Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to operate in confidential and sensitive situations.
