Job Purpose:
Ensure employees, contractors, and visitors work safely at SBM construction sites, ensuring compliance with company, regulatory, and client requirements.
Drive effective implementation of HSSE standards and training methods.
Promote strong safety leadership and positive HSE behaviours across locations.
Key Responsibilities:
Participate in accident/incident investigations.
Analyze incident statistics, identify trends, suggest improvement plans.
Provide HSE technical support to management.
Deliver in-house safety training and conduct safety audits on sub-contractors.
Perform risk assessments and prepare HSE documentation for tenders.
Advise on safety for contract start-up activities.
Qualifications:
Certification in Science/Engineering (or equivalent) with professional HSSE and Fire & Safety Management credentials.
Experience:
5+ years in Health, Safety, Security & Environment and Fire Services in Oil & Gas (including 5 years in Offshore Hook-up & Commissioning).
Knowledge of HSE Management Systems, Incident Command, HSSE audit techniques, Incident Investigation (Tripod Beta), hazard/risk management, environmental discharges.
